Hi, I am JP King, an interdisciplinary designer-educator-artist dedicated to creating experimental systems.

This writing project reflects the intersections of my reading, writing, and research practice with the aim of understanding where they overlap and converge.

I collaborate as a thought partner and knowledge translator, transforming complex ideas into compelling learning experiences.

With an emphasis on visual communication, my work grows from a diverse background, including printmaking, independent publishing, experimental film, storytelling, and coaching.

Holding an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art, Media, and Design, having quit a PhD in environmental education, and with training as a Gestalt psychotherapist, I teach creative research practices, regenerative design, and discard culture across institutions.

I work as a Project Systems Architect for Dark Matter Labs, designing processes, frameworks, and tools for transdisciplinary collaboration.
